My journey into interior design began over 30 years ago, back when DIY television was just becoming a cultural phenomenon. At 18, I took on my first project: designing my mother’s condo. That moment sparked a passion that would evolve into a lifelong career and eventually lead to the founding of J. Alexander Interiors.

As the founder and creative lead, my mission is simple: to help people stop dreaming about their ideal home and start living in it. I do that by truly connecting with each client — asking the right questions and, more importantly, listening deeply. Even when clients aren’t exactly sure what they want, I make it my job to hear the unspoken and transform it into a design that feels like them.

The reason I created J. Alexander Interiors is rooted in my belief in the power of connection. My path here hasn’t been a straight line. It’s been shaped by challenges, life experiences, and the courage to take risks. Every twist and turn has led me to this moment — where I’m not only ready, but uniquely qualified to do the work I love: helping people create spaces that feel like home.

Over the years, I’ve designed hundreds of homes and worked with countless families to help them create environments that reflect who they are and how they live. My story is my strength, and I bring that depth, insight, and heart into every project I take on.
